The Nass River is known as the big Dirty for its colour most of the year and boasts some of the best steelhead returns of all rivers in British Columbia. This fishery is not only a popular destination for recreational fishing but also plays a vital role in supporting local Indigenous communities and commercial fishing operations. We target these fish with 12-13’ Spey rods in the 7/8/9 weight and single handers in the 9-10’ range.
